Slackware current aka 12.1RC2

Hoje de madrugada fiz o update para a versão current,tive alguns problemas normais,como mouse,novos pacotes,novas dependências,novas configurações,novos scripts...

Gostaria de saber como anda a experiencias de vocês com a versão current?

Na verdade sempre utilizei a current...

O único problema real que tive foi com os dispositivos usb, só estava montando com o root, gerando alguns erros... mas foi fácil de resolver. O HAL era o vilão da historia, tive que desinstala-lo e instalar a versão antiga. Pelo que percebi isto não acontece somente no slackware...

O maior problema com o 12.1 foi mesmo os novos pacotes tinha esquecido de ler o changelog antes,mais sorte que o slack tem lynx ^^
Não tive problemas com o hal,sempre montei usb manualmente,uso o hal mesmo para dvds(é cansativo ficar montando dvd toda hora,uso muito =/).

a/kernel-generic-2.6.24.5-i486-2.tgz: Patched to fix a security issue in
       fs/dnotify.c. The use of dnotify (largely replaced by inotify on 2.6.x
       systems) could lead to a local DoS, or possibly a local root hole. We said
       we wouldn't make changes now unless something was "critical" -- and it seems
       we got what we wished for. ;-) This flaw will also be addressed in the
       kernels for previous releases as soon as possible. The patch itself may be
       found in source/k/linux-2.6.24.5-CVE-2008-1375-patch/.
